- What is Customized Coaching? An opportunity to work one-on-one with Dr. Bev Browning to hone your grant writing skills and learn the ins and outs of the grants process so that you can be better prepared to help out your team and your employer. This customized coaching can help both new grant writers still learning the ropes and experienced grant writers who wish to rekindle their grant seeking and grant writing “fires” to demonstrate a higher return on investment to their employers.
- How is the coaching experience customized? The coaching is based on the client’s specific learning needs. Dr. Browning will create a workplan that takes you from where you are to where you want to go professionally as a grant writer. You will be in charge of setting performance deadlines for each area of learning.
- How long is the coaching? It lasts for the duration of one grant writing project (usually no longer than three months). The completion of one application or proposal is the last step in the coaching process.
- When can Customized Coaching start? That depends on funding source deadlines, how long it takes the client to collect the preliminary research on the project in need of funding and the receipt of the client’s workplan for the project.
- How can a client work with Dr. Bev one-on-one when there will be no “in-person” meetings? You’ll be using technology to facilitate a virtual or distance learning experience. Email, telephone, and fax can move documents, ideas, conversations between Dr. Bev and the client.
